Last week my buddy and I went to Lexington (North of Port Huron) to do some quick fishing. The DNR had just dumped 10,000 small (8-9 inch) salmon a few days before so we had fun catching little fish for an hour. I was baby sitting my grandsons on Friday and a light went off in my head. ( My light is slow ) How about taking the grandsons over to the harbor to catch some small fish. I took them home with me on Friday afternoon and on Saturday we went fishing. His only comment was its ugly and I guess I never looked at it that way but he is kinda correct. So I got his first fish behind him.
We caught a few salmon but on the second cast we caught a small mouth. He looks a little scared but he did touch it and want to know why it was slimy and we had to do an anatomy lesson.
