Get your Colorado Elk Tag?

Well, I'm very disappointed to say that I won't be muzzleloader hunting elk this year. I didn't get my tag. I'll find out tomorrow if I drew a ML deer tag. :cry:

I drew a ML bull tag ( I had 2 points) my brother got a cow tag,I was unsuccessful with a doe tag tho and thats OK. These tags are getting harder to come by, They also cut the quota by about 25%

That figures! My brother and I both had 0 points. He had put in for a cow and didn't get it. Must have been because we put in as a group. Next year we are not putting in as a group. Good luck to you!!

Cajun, Sorry I just saw this. I had 2 points for elk. I drew a resident bull tag. My friend had one point for the non-resident draw, he applied and drew a cow tag.

Cajun, check the DOW website for leftover tags. They go on sale Aug 12 but the list is up now. Probably not the area you want but maybe somewhere close.

I also drew a muzzleloader bull tag...I had 3 pref. points though...I'll be hunting on the eastern slope....

Thanks! I took a glance and the list don't look promising for ML. I will spend some time this weekend studying it closer.
