CCI Stingers also performed great in my 22's .
I was under the impression that Stingers wont chamber-in many(most?) .22lr guns. I thought they fall somewhere between lr and magnum.CCI Stingers also performed great in my 22's .
Cool, i may try them in my mkiiiThey worked wonderfully in both my Remington bolt gun with a 5 rd magazine and both of my Ruger Mark II pistols and all of my friends Browning Buckmark pistols. The brass is a bit longer, but that was not a problem. We preferred Stingers for snowshoe hares.
Dont do it in a tight Bentz or other match chamberI was under the impression that Stingers wont chamber-in many(most?) .22lr guns. I thought they fall somewhere between lr and magnum.
I have some Aguila LR's, Hollow Points and high speed that shoot great out of my American Ruger. Its actually a very affordable ammo and it shoots very clean. After running a half a box thru the gun I shoved a clean, dry patch down the pipe and it came out about as clean as the last one after cleaning.I have started shooting different ammo and the good news is they all seem to shoot very good. That is .8 or less at 50. That may not sound overly exciting to some but I figure Im responsible for at least .25 of the group. One real good thing Is I have cheap ammo and some very expensive ammo $.30/ea). I have some Aguila I shot this morning.

Im getting ready to go on a trout fishing trip in a few weeks and want to bring the gun. Dont want to shoot up my expensive ammo so I thought I would sight this gun in with cheaper ammo. Well the more I shot the above ammo the better it got. My last group was .55 and as stated Im sure I have some part of that. Im thinking its old stock because the current pictures dont match the newer pictures I see on ammoseek. But it shoots great and Im happy to have it.
Did you get your supply while big green was circling the drain? I wonder if the Goldens also suffered from qc ineptitude before the big sell-off?The .22LR is an enigma much like a muzzleloader. There are some that can shoot anything well and others that are fussy about ammo. I have a 10-22 that will shoot anything with pretty good accuracy and a S&W 15-22 that is a fun gun and just shoot whatever I grab. I gave my grandson a Winchester 250 .22 my dad bought for me when I was 15 that shoots the cheap Win Wildcats the best. My Savage 93 shoots Federals and my new Bergara just loves CCI MiniMags (Varmint) and SK Std Plus.
I'm sure with that array of ammo you'll find a couple that shoot really well from you CZ.
Note: the only bullets that don't shoot well for me are Remington Golden. IMO they are trash. I have a couple boxes I shoot out of my revolvers until my supply is exhausted. I won't even waste time shooting them out of my rifles.
Many times when a company is hurting financially qc is the first to suffer. I've seen it several times because in my federal career that is the the departments I dealt with.Did you get your supply while big green was circling the drain?
