What muzzleloading stuff did you do today?

I'm thinking, if I'm remembering correctly, you can use less N120 than 4198.

My understanding also, 65gr of 4198 is Hankins maximum load with a 275gr. I don't plan on going over 60 gr which is what most people are finding is the "best" load to use. I've only been able to get off 3 shots with a 55gr load but didn't have my chrono with me. It definitely seemed like it needed more powder to tighten up. Just haven't had time to test it. Being retired is hard work!

Doing a little shooting right now with the Brux Omega and Woodman’s adjustable plug - nice clean 209s.

After testing 56-59 gr loads, I decided upon a 58 gr load of IMR 4198 with a wool wad and a 327 gr Parker Black Maxs. Speed was 2330 fps. Zeroed the Brux Omega at 100 and validated drops to 400 with it. Shot a nice little 3” group at 400. Now to 500 and 600 yards.

I have searched a lot for Deep Curls but no luck even from Speer so that's a good find.
